BKE-SD type capacitors bank with detuned filters are designed for compensation of reactive power in low voltage power networks showing ocurrence of the above higher harmonics.
Capacitors units capacity and inductiveness of network may constitute a resonanse system, which may cause damage to capacitors and other devices in the network. One solution to this problem is utilization of detuned filters.
BKE-ST thyristor switched capacitor banks are designed for compensation of reactive power in low voltage power networks showing ocurrence of the high-frequency changes of load. This is typical of loads due to welders, injection moulding presses, hoists, elevators, etc.
